Messy Art Fest
August 3-4 | 9 a.m.* - 5 p.m.
Push the limits of arts and crafts at the only festival that gives you total permission to get messy! At BADM's Messy Art Fest, kids of all ages will have fun and get messy during creative, hands-on programs.
Get ready for no rules and no clean-up – we'll handle that part!
All-Day Messy Programs
Explore endless ways to get creative!
Children will transform a completely white “living room” into something bursting with color by adding stickers to child size furniture and décor.
Neon Sculpture Garden
Use neon paint to add your colorful touch to 3D elements in our outdoor sculpture garden.
Mural Dance Party
Contribute to a large scale collaborative mural by painting with your feet! We’ll have music playing to get everyone in the mood for dancing.
Create your own marbled paper using shaving cream and liquid watercolors!
Make a scribbling machine that bounces, buzzes, and draws!
Spray Bottle Painting
Children will work together to create an artistic masterpiece using liquid watercolor and spray bottles.
Children will experiment with colorful sand to create unique designs.
Explore texture and form by freeform building with natural clay.
Al Fresco Watercolors
Relax in nature and create your own observation watercolors at easels set up around the museum.
Get hands-on with messy rainbow slime at our tactile table!
Still Life Watercolors
Use watercolors to capture the details of everyday objects arranged in a still life.
