Gear up for Giving Tuesday on December 2
Giving Tuesday is coming up on December 2, and this year, you can participate in this global giving event with a gift to the Bay Area Discovery Museum! All funds raised on Giving Tuesday will go toward BADM’s BOLD capital campaign, to help us complete renovations on four new, innovative STEM exhibits. These exhibits will allow us to provide more creative learning experiences to children and families throughout the Bay Area. Giving Tuesday may only be one day, but the impact of your donation will last a lifetime!
Two Ways to Double Your Donation
1. Donate Right Now
You can make a donation right now! Every dollar donated will be matched up to $250,000, thanks to the generosity of a BADM Trustee.

2. Start Your Own Facebook Campaign on Giving Tuesday
Facebook is matching all gifts on Giving Tuesday that are made through the “campaign feature.” Here are easy steps to start your own campaign:
- On December 2, visit our Facebook Page on your desktop device.
- On the left-hand side, select Fundraisers.
- Select +Raise Money and set the amount you want to raise.
Encourage your friends and family to participate by contributing to your Facebook campaign – Facebook will match donations made on December 2!
