STEM Superhero Series

This four-part festival celebrates early learning STEM concepts and the power of every child to use their problem solving skills to improve the future. Remaining festivals are on Saturday, May 6 and Saturday, June 3.


Family Gala

Saturday, May 13, 2017: Family gala is a family-friendly fundraiser that supports the museum’s mission to transform research into early learning experiences that inspire creative problem solving.


Goblin Jamboree

Saturday, October 21, 2017: Don your best costumes and join us for spooky family fun at Goblin Jamboree, a two-day Halloween festival.

Member Playdates

Reserved for members only, Member Playdates feature a facilitated hands-on art and STEM project for children.

During Member Storytime, Museum Educators bring books to life through puppets, props, and group interaction.

Public Safety Day

STEM Dance-ology

May 6, 2017: During this interactive dance performance, children take on the role of a bacteria superhero fighting off viruses and infections.

The Bay Area Discovery Museum and its Center for Childhood Creativity present Creativity Talks, a free biannual thought leadership presentation, which features prominent speakers on the topics of creativity, early childhood education, STEM education and more.
