Fab Lab Camps

Our second through fourth grade age group spends camp in our makerspace, the Fab Lab!

All Fab Lab camp sessions are offered in two week sessions only. This allows campers to get more in-depth knowledge of the innovative tools and technologies in the Fab Lab. Choose between two Fab Lab camps:

Technology and nature can interact in surprising ways. In this two-week Fab Lab camp, campers will use technology as a tool for protecting the natural world around them. During the first week, campers get hands-on with the Fab Lab’s innovative tools and technologies to create safe habitats for local wildlife. In week two, they’ll apply their new knowledge to design and create a solution that responds to something in nature they want to improve.

Tech Styles

During the first week, campers will familiarize themselves with the Fab Lab’s tools, ranging from needles and thread to the laser cutter. In week two, they’ll use what they’ve learned in an open-workshop setting, where they can create pieces that represent their unique style.
