Phone numbers obtained through the Museum’s SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties under any circumstances.

- Logistical details regarding your child’s wellbeing while participating in camp programs
- Registration and logistical information related to a birthday party or other event you are hosting at the Museum

Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication but is exclusively event-related. For example, you may receive up to 10 SMS messages per week related to your child’s wellbeing while they are attending camp, or up to 5 messages related to a birthday party you are hosting on our site. Outside of these events you will not receive SMS messages.
Example: “Message frequency may vary but is exclusively camp-related. You may receive up to 10 SMS messages per week regarding your child’s wellbeing while attending camp.”
Potential Fees for SMS Messaging
Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
Opt-In Method
To receive text messages related to your child’s experience at camps text START to 415-339-3961. To receive text messages related to a birthday party you are hosting, text START to 415-339-3939. Reply STOP to opt-out at any time. Text HELP or call 415-339-3900 for assistance or email contact@bad.org, or visit our website at https://bayareadiscoverymuseum.org/. Opt-Out Method
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list by emailing contact@badm.org or calling 415-339-3900.
