Daisies

Out Of This World (Space Science Explorer)
May 7
9:15 - 10:30 a.m.
Explore and observe the sky like a real scientist of all things space. Scouts will be able to observe and explore the sun using special glasses, learn about the phases of the moon and become familiar with stars and constellations.

Brownies

Code Constructors (Coding for Good 1 and 2)
April 16
9:15 - 11:15 a.m.

Find out how computer scientists write programs for computers to solve problems.  In this workshop scouts will learn about women in computer science, understand algorithms, loops, and events and use that information to create a maze game using Scratch.  Participants will then be encouraged to share their game with others.  When you've earned this badge, you'll know how to think like a game maker and use iteration to plan, build, and test a game.
