• Cancellations more than one month prior to a session’s start date are refunded, minus a cancellation fee of $100.
  Cancellations within one month of a session’s start date will not receive a refund in any amount.
• If the museum closes camp for any full camp sessions due to COVID restrictions, refunds will be available, minus an administrative fee of $75. The camp follows Marin County Public Health guidelines.
• If the museum closes camp in the middle of a session due to COVID restrictions, prorated refunds may be available minus an administrative fee of $75.
• Bay Area Discovery Museum reserves the right to cancel camps due to insufficient enrollment. If a camp is canceled, transfers will be offered, or refunds will be issued.

Groups are small with a maximum group size of 18 for older camps and 14 for younger campers.

Face coverings are optional.

To be eligible for camps, children must be 4 years old by November 1, 2022 for our Fall and Winter camps or by January 1, 2023 for our Spring Camps.

Campers must have experience separating from caregivers in a drop-off setting, such as school. Camps are a nut-free environment. Please provide 2 nut-free snacks and lunch for your child.

If a camp session is full, please feel free to add your name to the online waitlist. We will contact you if an opening becomes available.

We offer extended care for camps so you can have a stress-free day! After camp, you can pick them up any time between 3-4 pm. Extended care “Afternoon Adventures” feature daily field games or nature excursions, snack time, and time to play in the museum. The fees for extended care are $30/day.

At Bay Area Discovery Museum, we strive to make camp available to all.

We offer scholarships of $40/day for School Holiday Camps.

Currently, we do not provide snacks or lunch for our Fall and Winter camps. Food is available to order from the museum’s café, Beansprouts for Spring and Summer Discovery Camps.
