Research Partners – Bay Area Discovery Museum

Research Partners

The Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM) is committed to advancing research that informs our understanding of child development. As part of that commitment, BADM partners with scientists to provide a place to conduct original research studies with museum visitors. Research partners include labs from University of California—Berkeley, Stanford University, Mills College, and the University of Washington. Researchers investigate a wide range of topics including creative thinking in children, language acquisition, causal reasoning, STEM learning, and the role of social relationships in children’s learning.
