School and Community Programs
Engage and inspire your young learners with our award-winning, hands-on STEM programs for children ages 3-10. We offer three types of school and community programs:
- Discover-It-Yourself Visits (Preschool – 3rd Grade)
- STEM Workshops (Preschool – 3rd Grade)
- Try It Truck Programs (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
All programs are standards aligned with Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core State Standards.

Discover-It-Yourself field trips are self-guided visits to the museum, perfect for preschools and early elementary classrooms.
Designed for Pre-K to third grade students, STEM Workshops provide a playful, hands-on, multisensory exploration of STEM content at the museum or in the classroom.
Try It Truck
An engineering lab-on-wheels that travels directly to schools, libraries, and community organizations to provide hands-on early engineering experiences to children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
