Gumnut Grove

Adventure Through the Treetops

Coming Soon

Children experience the wonders of nature as they run, play and climb through 3 large treehouses nestled in the canopy of Fort Baker's majestic trees.

Modelled after gumnuts, the seed pods of a Eucalyptus tree, these unique play structures will spark your child's imagination and provide opportunities for adventurous play and age-appropriate risk taking. This space was specially designed for our 5 - 10 year old visitors.

Let the adventure begin!

GGCanopy

Play with Nature

Send a real gumnut up a conveyor belt from the ground up into one of the treehouses. Collect the gumnuts and sort them into bins, then, use a gumnut crusher to split the seeds and see what's inside.

GG_ClimbingNet

Reach New Heights

Your child can climb up a netted ladder to ascend into the treetops and make their way up to the gumnut treehouses – and some of the best views in the Bay Area.

GG_Slide

Exciting Exits

Your child will take risks and try something new as they play in this safe, elevated space. Their reward – sliding down from the gumnut treehouses on a giant slide.
