Fun, hands-on STEM and Art experiences that develop 21st century skills for children 0-10.

Goblin Jamboree

Weekdays at Goblin Jamboree were designed with BADM's youngest visitors in mind. Join us Wednesday, October 27 or Thursday, October 28 for even lighter crowds and extra space to haunt. Plus, little goblins will:

  1. Dissect pumpkin guts for spooky sensory fun 

  2. Explore an Orange Room or festive tactile play 

  3. Dance to the Scaredy Cats Brass Band

  4. And more festive programs!

Visit BADM

The Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM) is a space for imaginations to run wild! Located at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge on 7.5 acres of National Park land in Sausalito, BADM features outdoor and indoor exhibition spaces and daily programs for children 6 months of age to 10 years. 

Advanced Ticket Reservations are required due to limited capacity.

The Discovery School

Enrollment for the Discovery School (TDS), BADM's onsite preschool, is open for the 2022-23 school year. Apply before February 1, 2022 for priority consideration. 

Learn more about a preschool program that values time for pursuing interests, engages in imaginative play, and develops relationships that set children up for success in school and in life. Digital tours are available now! 

Gumnut Grove is Open!

Adventure through the treetops. Your 5-10 year old child will experience the wonders of nature as they run, play and climb through 3 large treehouses nestled in the canopy of Fort Baker's majestic trees. 

Gumnut Grove is included with General Admission.
