Noon Year’s Eve

Each New Year’s Evem we invite you to bring the little ones to ring in the New Year at the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Noon Year’s Celebration!

This kid-friendly affair includes a celebratory ball drop at noon, a live DJ, dancing, and various art activities. In addition, enjoy access to the museum’s indoor and outdoor exhibits like Lookout Cove and Bay Hall.

Activities:

  • Glitter Crowns: Children create their own glittery New Year’s crown using glue sticks, glitter, and pipe-cleaners in the Art Studios.
  • Chandeliers: Children will add to our collaborative chandeliers using materials that sparkle, shimmer, and shine in the Art Studios.
  • 2018 Glasses: Children decorate their own 2018 glasses, made in the Fab Lab.
  • Wish Wands: Children use various materials to create their own wish wands.
