Each New Year’s Evem we invite you to bring the little ones to ring in the New Year at the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Noon Year’s Celebration!
This kid-friendly affair includes a celebratory ball drop at noon, a live DJ, dancing, and various art activities. In addition, enjoy access to the museum’s indoor and outdoor exhibits like Lookout Cove and Bay Hall.
2017 Noon Year’s:
- Glitter Crowns: Children create their own glittery New Year’s crown using glue sticks, glitter, and pipe-cleaners in the Art Studios.
- Chandeliers: Children will add to our collaborative chandeliers using materials that sparkle, shimmer, and shine in the Art Studios.
- 2018 Glasses: Children decorate their own 2018 glasses, made in the Fab Lab.
- Wish Wands: Children use various materials to create their own wish wands.
