How Things Work is Open

Bay Area Discovery Museum is a place for imaginations to run wild. Watch your child take on new roles and skills as they learn through the power of play.

What makes a car move? Where does the water go when a toilet flushes? How Things Work answers these questions and more by revealing new and unique views of ordinary objects. Learn more about How Things Work.

Regular Hours

Wednesday - Sunday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Member Hour: 9 – 10 a.m.
Closed Monday – Tuesday

The museum will be closed September 12-23 for annual maintenance and staff training.
