Bay Area Discovery Museum Hosts Goblin Jamboree October 15 and 16

Don your best costumes and enjoy spooky family fun at this two-day Halloween festival

What: The Bay Area Discovery Museum is hosting Goblin Jamboree, a two-day Halloween festival and fundraiser. Best for children ages 6 months to 10 years, Goblin Jamboree features an array of child-friendly Halloween programs and activities throughout the museum. Goblin Jamboree features:

  • STEM and art programs like pumpkin dissection, critter observation, ghost building, and haunted house architecture
  • Pony rides
  • Petting zoo
  • Bounce houses
  • Train rides
  • Face painting
  • Hay mazes
  • Haunted house
  • Special performances from The Hipwaders, an award-winning children’s band on Saturday, and Asheba and Jelly Jam Time on Sunday

Why: This Halloween festival supports the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s mission to ignite and advance creative thinking for all children.

Who: Bay Area families are invited to Goblin Jamboree for a kid-friendly Halloween celebration. Attendees receive access to the museum’s 7.5-acre site with indoor and outdoor exhibitions, as well as STEM and art-based programs for children ages 6 months to 10 years.

When: Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission tickets are $16.95 and tickets for Bay Area Discovery Museum Members are $13.95. Visitors that purchase tickets in advance can skip the lines at entry in the “Fly-by Lane.”
