Join us for another Dino Days of Summer weekend on July 13-14

Sausalito, CA – The Dino Days of Summer are just heating up at the Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM). In July, BADM will host another fun weekend of dinosaur-themed activities for children 0-10 and their families. For more information on other July events, read on below.

BADM Will be Closed July 4
In celebration of Independence Day, BADM will be closed on Thursday, July 4. Our regular summer hours (open Monday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.) will resume the following day on Friday, July 5. BADM wishes all its members and visitors a happy and safe holiday!

Join Us for the Second Weekend of Dino Days of Summer
On July 13-14, BADM is bringing back its popular dinosaur-themed programs for the second weekend of its Dino Days of Summer series. Families can explore our current traveling exhibit, Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice™, and then enjoy themed programs and special performances! Join in programs like Ancient Excavators or the toddler-only Dino Egg Hatch. Buddy from PBS’s Dinosaur Train will also be on-site for a Dino Storytime at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Join us!
July’s Dino Days of Summer will run Saturday-Sunday, July 13-14 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, visit click here.

July STEM and Art Programs
In BADM’s STEM and Art Programs, children test out ideas and explore unfamiliar topics in age-appropriate ways. In July, children can test their scouting skills and learn about local bird life during Bay Area Birding. In the Art Studios, they can play on the walls and add colorful stickers to transform a white room into something magical! Join us for these and other programs all month long.
