The Bay Area Discovery Museum’s new exhibit, Science + You, opens September 24
Sausalito, CA – All children are scientists, and at the Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM), they can look and act the part! In BADM’s new traveling exhibit, Science + You, visitors get hands-on with the machinery, processes, and technology used in real laboratories every day. Enjoy Site-Wide Updates
From Monday, September 9 = Friday, September 20, BADM will be closed for annual maintenance and site-wide improvements. During Closed Weeks, BADM’s staff will make updates to current exhibits and museum spaces, so that visitors have even more opportunities for fun, creative exploration. We look forward to welcoming guests back through the doors on Saturday, September 21!

New! Special Exhibit Science + You Opens at BADM
Wash your hands, wipe your feet, and even walk through a pretend shower to enter a replica library at BADM’s new traveling exhibit, Science + You. The exhibit features interactive activities, including a Mixing and Separating Test Lab, Magnification Area, and Test Kitchen, all designed to get visitors thinking about the important connections between science and wellness. Come explore and experiment!
Science + You opens at BADM on Tuesday, September 24 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

September Drop-In Programs
Spark children’s curiosity through fun, creative programs at BADM! Daily STEM and Art Programs encourage children to make something unique, or explore a new interest. In September, children can upcycle colorful paint chips to create unique mosaics, or have an adventure in BADM’s miniature campground! Join us for these and other programs throughout the month.
