Our popular Iceless Skating Rink opens at the end of the month
Sausalito, CA – Whether you have family in town visiting for Thanksgiving or want a special memory with the kids while school is out, the Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM) is the place to be this November. Read on for more information about events happening in November at BADM!
Special Thanksgiving Week Hours
During the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving week, there’s nothing better than taking a break to share a memory with the whole family. And there’s no better place for that than BADM! The museum will be open an extra day — on Monday, November 25–so you can bring the whole family and out-of-town guests for a visit! We’ll be closed on Thanksgiving Day, and then normal hours will resume on Friday, November 29. We hope to see you at BADM that week!

Iceless Skating Rink Opens
Kick-off the winter season with a spin around the “ice!” BADM’s popular Iceless Skating Rink returns this year, so families can experience another year of fun – without the fear of falling. Join us on November 30 for opening day, or throughout the month of December.
BADM’s Iceless Skating Rink is included in the price of general admission, or FREE for BADM Members.
November Drop-In Programs
Each day at BADM, drop-in STEM and Art Programs give children a chance to explore new topics, design unique creations, and test out original ideas. In November, children can explore the wild world of germs, or experiment with watercolors and stencils on fabric to create their own fabric painting. These programs, along with other November offerings, will spark their curiosity for STEM thinking and hands-on creativity.
All drop-in programs are included in the price of general admission or FREE for BADM Members
