No School or daycare? We got you covered! The museum is open for more exploration, learning and play during Mid-Winter Break, February 17 - February 26.

Stretch your imagination and discover more this Mid-Winter break under the Golden Gate Bridge. Share meaningful moments with your loved ones and explore Bay Area Discovery Museum's 7.5 acres of interactive exhibits designed for children ages 6 months-8 years old.

Cardboard City

Opens February 11

Create a city of dreams built by your imagination and cardboard! Work with friends to build epic sky-rises, narrow bridges, twisting tunnels and more. 


Iceless Skating

Glide, twirl and wobble across an iceless pond. Enjoy all the fun of ice skating, without the cold or fear of falling!


Paint My Ride

A car can be a canvas too! Work together to layer colorful paints, vibrant shapes and curious patterns and witness the transformation of a vehicle into a joyful, imaginative work of art.

No school or daycare? No problem! School Holiday camps make any staycation memorable. Explore new horizons, make friends and adventure through the great outdoors in Fort Baker National Park.

About Bay Area Discovery Museum

Located at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge on 7.5 acres of National Park land in Sausalito, Bay Area Discovery Museum is designed for children 6 months to 8 years old.

Wednesday - Sunday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Member Hour: 9 - 10 a.m.
Closed Monday - Tuesday
