Kids will create their own glitter crowns, chandeliers, 2018 glasses, and wish wands. There will be music by DJ Mancub and dancing. The New Year’s Eve ball drop will be at noon.

The Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Try-It Truck is coming to the library this month, on Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 3–6 p.m. Children in grades K–5 will discover hands-on scientific experiences for free with the Try-It Truck, an “engineering lab on wheels” that will introduce children to innovative technologies. Participants will be able to collaborate, experiment, and design solutions for engineering challenges. This remarkable opportunity is sponsored by the Sonoma County Public Library Foundation.
